The first visit
It is a good idea to bring your child for a first check-up around the time the first teeth appear, or by the age of three at the latest. The first visits are short and calm — your child looks around, sits in the chair and meets the dentist.
What we do
Preventive check-ups, advice on brushing and diet, and treatment of cavities in baby and adult teeth. Baby teeth need treatment too — they hold space for the adult teeth and affect eating and speech.
Tips for parents
Help your child brush until they can do it well on their own. Limit sugary drinks and frequent snacks between meals. Talk about the dentist calmly and never as a threat.
NHIF
The NHIF covers preventive check-ups and part of children’s treatment under its conditions. Ask us when you book.
