What the check-up includes
At your first visit Dr. Kirov examines your teeth, gums and any existing restorations, asks about symptoms and habits and, if needed, recommends an X-ray.
Afterwards you get a clear explanation of what was found and what your options are — no unnecessary procedures and no rush.
Scale and polish
If the check-up shows tartar build-up, it can be cleaned at the same or a following visit. You can read more on the scale and polish page.
How often to come
For most people a check-up every six months is enough. If you are prone to cavities or gum problems, Dr. Kirov may recommend more frequent visits.
NHIF
The practice works with the Bulgarian National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF). The preventive check-up and some treatments are covered under the fund’s conditions — ask us when you book.
The information on this page is general. Your treatment plan is decided after an examination with Dr. Ivan Kirov.
